Job Description:
A company is looking for a Physician Audit and Education
Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a team of auditors and educators, ensuring quality and
productivity
Develop and maintain audit and education schedules, workflows, and
trackers
Conduct professional audits and provide ongoing education on coding
updates and compliance issues
Required Qualifications and Education
High School diploma required; Associate or BS degree in healthcare
preferred
Completion of at least one AHIMA or AAPC certified program with
active professional credentials required
Minimum 8 years of recent physician coding experience and 5 years
of recent physician auditing experience
Minimum 3 years of management or supervisory experience
preferred
Expert knowledge of E&M and Surgical coding, medical
terminology, and relevant billing policies
