Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist Cath LabLocation: Boca Raton, FLType of Work: In OfficeSchedule: Full-Time, 6:00 AM 4:30 PM (Call Required)Type of Contract: PermanentPay Rate: $33.58 - $47.01 per hourDescription:The Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist in the Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Lab provides technical and clinical support to physicians during interventional and surgical cardiovascular procedures. This role is critical for ensuring patient safety, high-quality imaging, and efficient procedure execution in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiac monitoring, fluoroscopy, and interventional imaging, as well as expertise in handling specialized cardiovascular equipment and devices. Additionally, this role requires participation in an on-call rotation to support emergency procedures.Responsibilities and Duties:Assist physicians in preparation, intra-procedural, and post-procedural patient care in the Cath Lab.Operate and maintain radiographic, fluoroscopic, and specialized cardiovascular imaging equipment.Monitor and document cardiac and physiological data during invasive procedures.Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and infection control measures.Prepare and manage specialized cardiovascular supplies and interventional devices.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to optimize patient care.Educate patients and families regarding procedures, post-procedure care, and recovery expectations.Participate in on-call rotations to support emergency cardiac interventions.Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality control standards.Complete a minimum of 12 CEUs annually, including at least 10 related to cardiovascular technology.Requirements:Education:Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular or Cardiopulmonary Technology program ORDiploma, associate, or bachelor's degree in health sciences (including but not limited to cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, or nursing).Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.Licenses & Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required).Eligible to sit for the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) exam after one year of full-time work experience in invasive cardiovascular technology.Experience:Minimum of one year of experience in invasive cardiovascular technology required.Additional Skills:Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, interventional cardiology, and catheterization procedures.Proficiency in radiation safety practices and imaging technology.Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.Benefits: Health and Wellness:Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.Access to employee wellness programs and telemedicine services.Career Growth:Opportunities for training, certification programs, and career advancement.Support for continuing education and specialized cardiovascular certifications.Work-Life Balance:Paid time off, holiday pay, and flexible work schedules.'ttg Talent Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer and recruiting agency.
