Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Privacy Counsel to lead its
global privacy function and ensure compliance with data protection
regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and oversee the privacy program to ensure
compliance with global data protection laws
Provide legal guidance on privacy matters related to product
development, marketing, and partnerships
Manage data breaches and security incidents, ensuring compliance
and risk mitigation
Required Qualifications
JD or equivalent legal degree with active membership in at least
one U.S. state bar
8+ years of legal experience focused on privacy and data
protection
In-depth knowledge of global privacy laws, including GDPR and
CCPA
CIPP/E, CIPP/US, or similar certification preferred
Prior management experience preferred
