Description:Summary & ObjectiveThe Assistant, Supervisor Environmental Services provides direction for the Technicians, EVS and Laundry to ensure that the department meets facility and regulatory standards and needs.
Essential Functions

• Check staffing levels daily and corrects any deficiencies
• Conduct campus inspections QCI's daily
• Verifies staff work schedule daily
• Reviews census daily for any admissions and/or discharges for daily cleaning of rooms
• Takes inventory daily and submits orders to Environmental Services Supervisor.
• Responses to campus environmental requests via communication/request software. *Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
  Other Duties
  • Works in any position within the Environmental Services Department as needed
  • Conducts in-services/education as needed or requested
  • Provide orientation on a regular basis to new employees.
  • Create work assignments for special projects
  • Participates in staff in-service training
  • Promotes positive employee engagement, teamwork, mutual respect and safety work practices.
  • Maintain required mandatory skill updates.Supervisory Responsibility

      Requirements:Knowledge & Experience Requirements
      • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
      • 1-3 years' experience in a health care setting
      • Must have knowledge of computer office software
      • Must be able to read, write and understand the English language Physical Requirements
        • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 250+ pounds, walk, climb stair or ladders, stand on feet for extended periods of time, etc.
        • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently work in outside weather condition and is frequently exposed to fumes and airborne particles.
