Summary:

We're looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will provide support to the Operations finance team. This role will be responsible for all forecasting, budgeting, business case modeling, variance analysis, and project presentations. The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter with superior communication skills, be able to understand business drivers, and work on challenging and time sensitive needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive key financial processes such as monthly close, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
• Provide timely weekly forecasts and annual budget to the operations finance department.
• Build financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience primarily for subscriber-based costs related to Telecom and Interactive charges.
• Prepare and provide monthly financial reporting including communicating future financial risks and opportunities to the business.
• Collaborate and manage monthly close activities by interfacing with accounting and the FP&A team to reconcile and provide variance explanations as required.
• Conduct analysis and research on current and future performance to provide valuable business insights and financial outcomes.
• Work on ad hoc financial analyses and projects as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Construct reliable and automated data processes.

  • The successful candidate will implement and drive the core financial processes for the Operations Finance Team.
    This role requires a result driven self-starter with a strong financial modeling background, problem solving skills, a keen attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous situations, and superior communication skills.
  • This role has regular interaction with various business groups across operations rations and finance teams and requires strong people skills and the ability to build strong cross functional relationships.
  • You must be able to apply strategic thinking to ensure financials are aligned to key priorities.
  • Clearly communicate recommendations and scenario analysis to finance and business leaders.
  • Monitor trends and key levers, such as headcount against plan/forecast assumptions.
  • Additional responsibilities include helping refine the data processes through automation using visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, and more importantly, using that data to drive actionable insight and results.
    
    Basic Qualifications:
    
    
    • Bachelor's degree in business-related field preferred (i.e., Accounting, Finance).
    • 2-3+ years of finance, business, or related analytical field experience.
    • Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results.
    • Experience working with large data sets of information.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
    • Advanced MS Excel required.
    • Ability to build effective relationships across business functions at all management levels.
    • Experience in Microsoft Office.
      
      Preferred Qualifications:
      
      
      • Essbase knowledge/experience.
      • Creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience.
      • Demonstrate experience in data analyses using Structured Query Language (SQL) preferred.
      • Analytical focus - creating action plans from data/trends.
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills - ability to express ideas clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles.

        This role requires you to be onsite, at our Boca Raton, FL headquarters three days a week. The other two days are remote, offering the flexibility you need while still engaging in meaningful collaboration with cross-functional teams.
